What We Remove vs. What We Clean

We don’t hide problems; we fix them. Once everything is dry and the moisture issue is resolved, we’ll greenlight any necessary repairs or rebuilding.

Do I need testing before remediation?
Not always. If growth is visible and the source is clear, we may go straight to remediation. We recommend Mold Inspection & Testing when the scope is unclear, hidden growth is suspected, or documentation is required (real estate, physician, insurance).
Will you paint over the mold or just "fog" it?
No. We don’t paint over active growth or rely on temporary fixes that only address symptoms. We remove contaminated materials, HEPA clean and treat salvageable surfaces, dry the area, and fix the moisture source. Coatings are considered only after proper cleanup and drying.
How long does remediation take?
Most residential projects wrap in 1–3 days, depending on size and access.
Can we stay home while remediation is being done?
Usually, yes. We contain the work area and run HEPA/negative air. Please keep children and pets out of the containment area.
Will you remove walls/insulation?
If porous materials like drywall, carpet pad, and insulation are colonized with mold, we remove them. Solid wood and masonry can usually be cleaned and saved if structurally sound.
Do you provide clearance testing?
Yes. If requested, we coordinate post-remediation verification.
Will insurance cover this?
Coverage varies. Mold is often excluded unless it is directly linked to a covered water event. We provide photo documentation and a written scope to support your conversation with the insurer.
